Hotel Real Palacio

Although the hotel was outside the tourist centre of Lisbon it was a very nice place to stay. An easy journey from the airport on the Red Metro line and an easy journey to the centre on the blue metro line. A quiet area with metro nearby, El Corte Ingles just across the road. Very friendly receptionist who was very keen to be helpful. My room was excellent with a wonderful view down to the Tagus river and the castle. Room was large, with a comfortable bed, Nespresso machine, kettle, fridge, old WiFi, TV with English channels , bathroom with a super bath. El Corte Ingles has a basement area with cheap places to eat and gourmet area on the seventh floor with several places to eat and drink. The hotel has a restaurant and a sports bar. Very nice breakfast buffet - only criticism is the breakfast area in the basement is a little small therefore can get crowded. I thoroughly enjoyed the hotel and my stay.

The property is well located if that sector is where you want to be. There are plenty of shops and restaurants at walking distance from the Hotel, and taxis can find it quickly too. The room was spacious enough, soundproof (top quality!) with a sitting area and amenities (although the blowdryer was not of good quality). Service is courteous and fast. Housekeeping does a very good job, too.

The hotel is north of most of the touristy stuff which is our preference. It is still within walking distance of two train stops that can help you get around the city. Breakfast was included in our package and it was great for us and our toddler. There was a fruit spread, yogurt/oatmeal section and your more hearty items such as eggs (scramble, hard boiled), sausage, bacon, mushrooms and mini pancakes. The hotel interior was beautiful. The service was wonderful. Our room had a nice gift for our honeymoon. Overall wonderful stay.

Good location near metro and good restaurants around. Nice big room with open view. Very good breakfast when finally got it.

VERY GOOD HOTEL! It is strategically located in a beautiful area, with easy access to the center and other areas of the city. Within a five to ten-minute walk there are three different metro stations! Helpful staff, responded immediately to every question and wish we had. Very clean and comfortable room, with very good quality mattresses and toiletries. The breakfast is very rich and of high-quality, with an abundance of local products, cheeses, cold cuts and sweets.
